An excellent location. Fantastic grounds for our great dane. Well equipped cottage with a wonderful gesture of bread milk tea/coffee and chocolate biscuits after a long journey. A very comfortable and cosy holiday cottage.

John Fanner barn is a comfortable and cosy place with a large garden (great for Easter egg hunt) and a zip wire which the children loved! The barn is well provided, quiet and private; the beds, bedding and towels are super clean, soft and comfortable. It is very open plan so not many places to hide and we had to watch age appropriate TV after hoursRead more as the kids could see over the mezzanine. Good for young families but a drive from amenities or visitor attractions. That was fine for us. Hide

Lovely accommodation which was comfortable, warm and welcoming. The shared garden was very large and great for our labrador to run around in. If the weather had been better we'd have also taken advantage of the great location and ventured out to Auldburgh or Southwold! It turned out to be a very relaxing weekend, however.

The John Farner Barn provided an idillic family mini break, a beautiful barn conversion with all the facilities. We spent many hours in the games room or on the zip line enjoying family time and in the evening relaxed in front of the log burner.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived at the cottage, but as soon as you walk in and you see the oak beams inside and how incredibly spacious it was, instantly made you realise you made the right choice. I know it sounds daft but the best feature of the house for me was the walkway going towards the bedrooms upstairs. Made the place look evenRead more bigger and the wood burner downstairs was a joy to use. We've never used one before so as soon as we got it going it was wonderful Thanks so much. Hide

What an absolutely delightful cottage, honestly had the most relaxing time in such a beautiful place

John Fanner Barn has been converted really nicely and is very well equipped, but the accommodation is better suited for families with children rather than 4 adults due to the lack of privacy with the sleeping arrangements.

It's not the easiest of places to find as the Holiday Cottage information says to look for Yatley Manor not Yaxley manor. Other than that it was great for us and we found it an excellent base for out excursions.
