We chose to stay here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and could not have chosen a more magical location. Beautiful accommodation, great setting looking out onto the pond and to top it all the hot tub. The Cart Lodge is within easy distance to visit Thetford Forrest, Redgrave Fen and Knettishall Heath, lots of pretty villages with thatched cottages and country pubs.

Absolutely wonderful! A cosy and comfy slice of country living! We stayed there as a couple and although there is a second bedroom, might have felt a little cramped if there was a second couple, so perhaps suited more to a couple with a child. We only stayed 2 days so didnt find the right walk paths but we did walk to the blue boar pub, which was mRead moreostly walking along the road, which wasnt great. A lovely cottage in a lovely location. The views are great and the hot tub is a nice treat. The cottage is well maintained and clean and has pretty much everything you need for a short stay. The only down side is that the local pub and shop are about a mile away along a 60mph road with no footpath which could be a little dangerous. Beautiful accommodation. Stunning views. Perfectly remote. Larger than average huttub. Lovely welcome hamper from the hosts with bread, jam, tea and coffee and wine which meant we could settle in with a nice cuppa before finding a supermarket. The Wi-Fi needs improvements, it was not usable for our trip.

This property is huge! For four people you are simply spoilt for choice to sit and relax. Ultra quite and idyllic location. Sit long enough and you will see the Kingfisher going about his day job. Ideal for those seeking to get away from it all.
