Whether it’s a family holiday or romantic break there are plenty of options to suit all tastes when staying at this characterful cottage. Walkers and ramblers will find many scenic walks locally or perhaps tour by bicycle some to the quaint medieval villages which can be found in the area. Clare and Long Melford are renowned for their antique warehouses, shops and boutiques. A short drive away is Bury St Edmunds, a market town, which offers a wide array of amenities and attractions for all ages including the Cathedral and Abbey gardens, prestigious shopping, an award-winning market, Theatre Royal and brewery to name a few. Further afield lies the stunning Suffolk Heritage Coast home of the lovely sandy beaches of Walberswick and Southwold.
Enter the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and immediately notice the numerous period features including exposed beams and brickwork and an inglenook fire with wood burner, ideal for cosy nights in front of the TV/DVD while relaxing on the comfortable sofa and chair. While there are plenty of options to dine out, should guests choose to dine in, the well-equipped kitchen contains everything required to create culinary delights with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer and dining table. Heading up the staircase to the first floor, guests will find two bedrooms, one double and one single and a shower room with shower and WC.
Venturing outside the cottage guests will find a raised patio area with garden furniture, a wonderful space for a spot of alfresco dining or glass of wine on a warm summers evening. There is roadside parking available subject to availability. There is a bike stay available, however guest will need to bring their own locks.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
