This bright, well-proportioned flat has the added benefit of private parking and is situated in the Newington area of Edinburgh, close to all the amenities the city has to offer.

Newington lies on the south side of the city, 2 miles from Princes St which is easily accessible by bus. The open parkland around Arthur's Seat is within a short distance and offers scope for lovely walks and a climb to the top will reward you with spectacular views across the city to the Pentland Hills or the Firth of Forth and Fife hills beyond. The nearby Commonwealth Pool has excellent leisure facilities. Attractions within walking distance include Our Dynamic Earth and the Pleasance Theatre. For some retail therapy, head to the Cameron Toll Shopping Centre or the Fort Shopping Complex.

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 family room with double and single bed (additional chair bed available). Bathroom: with electric shower and WC. Lounge/diner: with TV. The flat was very clean and tidy on arrival. The flat has all the comfort that a family needs on a short term holiday. Very handy position as everything including main attractions are at walkable distance. Nearest bus stops are within 5 minutes walk. Overall, my family and I enjoyed the staying there, and would definitely book it again in future.

Flat is in a good position , about 20 mins walk to get to the centre. It was comfortable and reasonably spacious.There was nobody to meet you and explain things nor any welcome gift.No instructions for w machine or TV and TV remote did not work .Heaters not functioning but weather did not require them fortunately The owner brought a new remote and Read moreleft it without setting it up and it still did not work. On the positive side the owner allowed me to stay an extra night in recompense.Needs TLC. Hide

The flat was what I expected from the pictures on the website and felt homely. The view of Arthur's seat from the living room was beautiful, especially watching the sunrise. The noise from outside was minimal, even with windows open and the location is about 1.5 - 2 miles from the city centre, easy enough to walk if you want or you can jump on the Read morebus from the main road out the back of the flats.
