Lovely welcome to the lodge with well stocked gift basket - a welcome surprise - thank you! Cottage was warm and comfortable. We appreciated the period features (leaded windows), mixed with modern amenities (kitchen). Quality crockery, cutlery and appliances. Also quality bed linen was appreciated.

We had a fantastic stay! It's a beautiful cottage and it was very comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable and my Dad said it's the first time he's slept through the night all year! (Now that's a compliment!) There was enough equipment/cutlery/dishes etc for us and everything was clean. We couldn't recommend this place enough! I would recommend having a car to get into North Berwick/Edinburgh/Portobello though!

The cottage was of very high standard with excellent bedrooms and bathrooms. Living area was cozy and the wood-burner heated the space very well. Location was great for North Berwick, Haddington and access to the A1. Take a walk up to the walled garden project if you can.

A beautiful property with fantastic equipment. We didn’t want to leave! It is about a 30 minute drive from Edinburgh so perfect if you want to escape the city. We would definitely stay again!

A beautiful property, with excellent finish and equipment. Lovely comfortable beds and gorgeous bathrooms. The cottage was toasty warm and when we lit the wood burner we had to let it die down, it was so hot!! Great location and Edinburgh half an hour away by train. We had a wonderful week
