Estate agent referral scheme

Terms and Conditions

Participation in the Travel Chapter ‘Estate agent refer and reward scheme’ is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions:

1. The Travel Chapter ‘Estate agent refer and reward scheme’ only applies to participants based in the UK.
2. The referral incentive is not transferable.
3. The referral incentive can be selected from either:
   
   a. A retail e-voucher sent to the email address provided with the referral, with the value corresponding to the property sale price: up to £250,000 = £200; up to £500,000 = £400; up to £750,000 = £600; more than £750,000 = £800).
   
   OR
   
   b. A BACS payment (excluding VAT where applicable) payable upon receipt of an invoice, with the invoiced amount corresponding to the property sale price: up to £250,000 = £250 + vat; up to £500,000 = £500 + vat; up to £750,000 = £750 + vat; more than £750,000 = £1000 + vat).
4. Travel Chapter is not responsible for any taxes, as required by law, arising from the provision of the referral incentive.
5. Travel Chapter reserves the right to substitute an incentive of commensurate value subject to these same terms and conditions.
6. Employees of Travel Chapter are not eligible to participate in the referral scheme.
7. The referral fee will not apply for an existing owner already letting with Travel Chapter; for a change of owner in a property previously letting with Travel Chapter; or where the owner was letting with Travel Chapter in the previous 12 months.
8. If the referral incentive is not invoiced for within 90 days of the referred property signing a Travel Chapter letting agreement, Travel Chapter reserves the right to withdraw the incentive.
9. Properties can only be referred to Travel Chapter once. If a property is referred to Travel Chapter more than once, only the first referrer will be eligible for a referral incentive under this scheme. Travel Chapter reserves the right of judgement and all decisions are final.
10. Travel Chapter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the incentive for reasons beyond its control.
11. Travel Chapter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of the incentive.
12. To the extent permitted by law, Travel Chapter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to, direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with entry into the scheme or acceptance of the incentive.
13. To be eligible for the referral payment, the referred property must have been sold within the 6 months prior to the letting agreement being signed.
14. The referral incentive will be paid within 30 days of the property being made available for letting on holidaycottages.co.uk
15. Travel Chapter reserves the right to terminate the referral scheme at any time.
