Bedwell Cottage is very homely, with lots of home comforts, a well-equipped kitchen and wood-burner and range. It was peaceful, apart from the odd airplane from RAF Brize Norton, with country walks on the doorstep and quaint towns and villages nearby. Theres lots to do in the area.

We found the property spacious, clean, warm etc. But on the downside the settee was uncomfortable and needed replacing. Good for dog owners with plenty of walks If you fancy a quirky country cottage full of nick nacks and pictures then this is the one for you.

The cottage was small and cluttered with too much furniture. It was advertised as appropriate for 3 dogs which we had with us and though we managed it wasnt really big enough. However it is well situated to be able to see the area.

This is a fantastic cottage. A great little garden area which is ideal for our dogs. Very cosy inside and it was like stepping into someone's home. The owners kindly left a bottle of milk and also a bottle of wine which was a lovely welcome. A nice walk to the local pub 'The Bell'- great food and dogs very welcome. This is our second stay at Bedwell. A week in 2015 and a weekend break at the end of January 2018. We enjoyed walks with the dog across the farm land, cosy and comfortable cottage to come home to, Burford and nearby good choice of supermarkets at Carterton. Friendly hosts and locals.
