Bertie cottage, the best accommodation me and my partner have ever had the pleasure of staying in. David the owner is very warm and welcoming making you feel at ease straight away. Set in a picturesque country landscape although a short trip to the local super market. Would recommend to anyone in need of a weekend getaway.

Bertie cottage was absolutely perfect for us, it was comfortable with everything you could need. It was so peaceful looking out across the fields with the owner's horses grazing in them. It was in a great position for visiting the local area and the owner's recommendations of where to eat were lovely. Lots to do and see around here. Owners were verRead morey helpful and we would definitely return here. A relaxing break- thank you. Hide

Value for money cottage. On the edge of the Cotswolds and close to many attractions. If you are a walker or National Trust member then this is the place for you.

The Berttie cottage was very well located to places like Chaddar Gorge, Bath, Bristol, Cotswolds and Western-super-mere. Lots of National Trust homes etc. David was very welcoming. Would stay again

The booking service was efficient and helpful. However, for the single reason of a painful nights sleep I could not recommend Bertie. If the bed was improved I would happily recommend it.

Bertie cottage was a lovely cosy cottage in a very pretty peaceful location but a good base to explore nearby places like Bath

The cottage is in a lovely spot between Bath and Bristol with lovely views of the country side, good size bed room and shower room.Well stocked kitchen would be nice if there was a new sofa as this one has seen better days.

We felt that it needed a feminine touch to make it more homely. Otherwise it was fine with a comfortable bedroom and good shower which is important. Loved watching the horses.
