Often referred to as the Venice of the Cotswolds, the thriving village of Bourton-on-the-Water is a great base for exploring the Cotswolds. Enjoying a great location, it is within walking distance of the Motor Museum, the Model Village, Birdland and for enthusiastic walkers and cyclists there is access to both the Winchcombe and Cotswold Way, established paths covering this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Step inside into the lounge/diner, beautifully finished with a traditional style, wooden floors and complemented with oak furniture and leather sofas that front the inviting wood burner, a bay window offers views onto the many quaint cottages within the lane. A solid wooden dining table is great for entertaining along with access to a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. A wonderful cottage in a great location with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable holiday and also spotlessly clean. Our dog was made to feel welcome! It was a complete joy to stay in the cottage.

The cottage was fabulous and had everything we needed. It was decorated and furnished beautifully. Lovely and peaceful and yet only two minutes to the High Street. Will be coming back!

Location, cleanliness and equipment excellent. However, the website needs to state exactly how much the 2nd car park space costs before booking - too late once you have booked it, if you think it is too expensive. Also, needs to be made clear on website that dogs are not allowed upstairs - again too late finding this out once you have arrived at thRead moree cottage. Hide

A perfect cottage for exploring the area. Beautiful cottage with excellent facilities and those little touches that make a difference. We were amazed at how central it was to the village which was perfect. Thoroughly recommend it and we will certainly be returning.

We had a brilliant Easter Break in this beautiful cottage. We have 2 children both 6 years of age and the local village (1 minute walk away) has lots to do for families. The shops, restaurants, cafes and bakery are all lovely and we visited the model village, maze and bird park. The cottage was immaculate when we arrived and was so warm and cosy! IRead moret had 2 lovely outside areas to the front and back. I think the cottage was better equipped than our own house. The owners are lovely Hide
