Our last visit to the Forest of Dean 20 years ago was a disaster. Our visit this time has completely won us over. A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting in the village of Clearwell has provided us with a week of peace and relaxation and convinced us to make a return visit as soon as possible.

The cottage is beautiful. Extremely well equipped with lots of well thought out extras. Very clean with lovely bed linen and towels. The basket of goodies left for us were really nice. The position of the cottage is great for walking (with or without dogs!!) and for sight seeing. Would definitely recommend.
