Court Barn was an ideal cottage for our purposes being on one floor, Very manageable for my mother who can only walk a short distance and with walk in showers this was ideal, Though close to the road this did not affect our stay and the property is in an ideal position to explore a wide area including the Forest of Dean, Wye Valley and in to Wales.Read more Everything we needed was provided. Perfect location, we absolutely loved our week here, total relaxation. Our dogs were very safe and we made use of the paddock for them to play. The hot tub was also well used and the Barn itself was ideal, clean, fresh and spacious. Previous comments mentioned about the traffic noise, however, we didnt really find this an issue. The road noise was a little annoying when sitting outside. Hadnt noticed until after we booked how close the road was. Should have looked in google maps! Nice Barn conversion but no good if you are a light sleeper traffic noisy and close

we had a great time at the barn. everyone made good use of the hot tub, and was a great base for our short break in the Wye valley close to everything we wanted to see. The weather wasn't great, but don't let that put you off, as the heating definately works, and the hot tub was a great way of warming up after a freezing walk.

The property is in a lovely location with lovely views. It was extremely cold and snowy when we were there and the underfloor heating took a long while to heat up. The bedrooms were very cold and draughty. There is a lot of traffic noise from the A48 especially at night. We only got to use the hot tub once, ( due to to the weather) which was a shamRead moree as it was lovely, as was the presecco and chocolates left for us. Hide

We have just got bk from are minimoon here, we were welcomed with a bottle of prosseco and some chocolate such a nice touch. The property itself was lovely, the paddock was so good for the dogs to. The hot tub nice an clean. If u r going to stay I would advice taking ear plugs as the noise from the road is so loud. Not the property vault tho.
