A very comfortable cottage with a large dining room/living room so everyone is in one space. The garden is huge and stock fenced right round except for a peculiar arrangement between the two properties enabling access to the area in front of the smaller property- not so good with a dog, though the smaller cottage has a separate fenced field the othRead moreer side of it. We very much enjoyed our stay. The property is very near outstandingly beautiful countryside and near to all facilities. The barn conversion has a touch of luxury but there are some rough edges. The main road at the front is noisy with HGV traffic from early morning on the main A48. For the cost, double glazing would be great. The en suite shower dRead moreownstairs is very difficult to control and scalding hot until you get the knack. Disabled people are fine downstairs but no access to lounge/ diner. Hide

Potentially a lovely property, needs a bit of a refresh and spring clean we've stayed in better for the price. Excellent location for days out but right on the A48 so can be a bit noisy at busy times. Dog friendly with a great outdoor space.

Lovely cottage but isn't in a quite location, ample room and uneven garden so be careful with little ones if running around, cottage very hot in the summer with all Windows opened could do with some fans, lots to see and do in that area.

Perfect for a family break! Large open plan living area, superb kitchen and an amazing play area for the children. Our three generations had a wonderful time here, and will definitely be back!

A lovely property, very well maintained and in a good location close to town. Lots of space outside, and plenty of room for our family of seven cousins to relax together and apart.

Went for a weekend with a group of girlfriends. We had a great weekend and everything you could want for a self catering accomodation was available. There was quite a bit of dust around the lounge area, Just think the cleaners need to be a bit more thorough in that room, but everywhere else was fine. All bedrooms a really good size.

The property itself was fantastic. The dirt track leading up to it was full of potholes and was difficult to drive over whilst keeping your car in one piece. The location is at the side of quite a busy road with no pavements so bring your wellies.

We had a very pleasurable stay. The house was very clean and the kitchen extremely well equipped. The communal area upstairs was large but the log burner did a good job at keeping us all cosy! The owners were very obliging and we ended up leaving just before midday. A big plus for us was that this was a dog friendly property. Hide

We chose this house as a central point for a family get together to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. The space available could not have been better with a very large lounge and dining area. The house was extremely well equipped and we catered easily for about twenty people. Excellent accommodation!
