Situated within the heart of a traditional Cotswolds village, this charming property has been restored to enhance a wealth of character, with warming wood burners, flag stone floors and mullion windows.

Chedworth is an attractive village which remains unspoilt and off the beaten track, with traditional stone houses nestling into the sides of the valley, well positioned for exploring with many popular towns and villages to include, Stratford upon Avon, Bath, Tetbury and Cheltenham, famous for the races and literature festival. For seasoned walkers a wealth of well waymarked paths that will take you through the breath taking countryside. The more traditional villages of Bibury, Bourton on the Water and Broadway are also nearby. National Trust houses and gardens to include the Chedworh Roman Villa, Snowshill Manor &Gardens, Chastleton House and Hidcote to name but a few.

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: accessed via steep cottage style stairs, 1 double with TV, 1 twin with ornamental fireplace. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC on the ground floor. Lounge: with TV/DVD and woodburner. Kitchen/diner: well-equipped with Electric oven and hob, fridge, washing machine and microwave. Woodburner, table and chairs. Utility room: with freezer. Outside large lawned garden with garden furniture. Amenities: parking for 2 small cars. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. 1 dog welcome. Location: shops 5 miles, pub 1 mile and farm shop within walking distance Arrival: 3pm.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

A really quiet village location, lovely views from the property and garden and many walks in the immediate vicinity, either on quiet roads or through fields, all well marked. Plenty of birdlife in the garden. Very cosy with the two woodburner and no signs of damp which was a concern for me before we went. Not luxurious by any means, but everything you would expect from a cosy traditional old cottage. Can't think of anything bad to say about it really. The location was perfect for getting around all the major tourist villages. A lovely olde-worlde cottage in a quiet rural location, sympathetically modernised with everything you need for a short break. Cooking and food storage facilities were OK, although we ate out at the local hostelries. The beds are comfy and very warm, the storage heaters made the house warm enough and there are enough rugs to prevent the stone floorRead mores being uncomfortable. Lovely cottage, beautiful sunny kitchen. Loved loved loved the selection of toys and trains for my daughter, she really enjoyed them. Parking could be a little tricky as neighbours park awkwardly. Great garden really beautifully maintained.
