A short drive away is the thriving market town of Cirencester, the capital of the Cotswolds, offering a great choice of pubs, restaurants and shops as well as a range of attractions including the Corinium Museum, the remains of a Roman Amphitheatre and Cirencester Park. Nearby is Tetbury, renowned for its antique shops, and home to the royal residence of Highgrove Gardens. The Cotswold Water Park offers plenty of activities including water skiing, wakeboarding, horse riding, golfing, fishing and paintballing.

On entering this artfully converted property, which was originally part of a 16th century mill building and retains plenty of original features including exposed beams and a stone fireplace, you will find yourself in the lovely open-plan lounge/diner. The welcoming and traditional lounge is an ideal space for relaxation and features plenty of comfy seating, TV/DVD, and plenty of books, games and DVDs for all the family and a selection of children’s toys. You will also find a delightful dining area. Moving into the stylish kitchen, you will find it is equipped with an electric oven, grill and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine and dryer. There’s a pretty kitchen table with seating for four guests. Going upstairs you will find two cosy bedrooms. There’s a master bedroom with double bed and great storage space, with views over the orchard and the meadow. In addition, there’s a twin room with vaulted ceiling, that has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and overlooks the Thames that flows just below the window. There is a stone-tiled family bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Stepping outside you will find a private large lawn garden overlooking the Thames. This is a wonderful space to sit back and unwind, with a furnished patio ideal for al fresco dining. There is a large meadow for children to play in, as well as a private floodlit tennis court.
