This dormer property has been beautifully refurbished to offer a stylish home-from-home in the Cotswolds.

Situated at the foot of the Hidcote hills, this property is within walking distance of Mickleton’s picturesque high street. Home to the world famous Pudding Club, this charming rural village also boasts a church, farm shop and traditional butcher. Three miles away, the market town of Chipping Campden has a charming limestone high street of independent shops, cafes and galleries. This also marks the starting point of The Cotswold Way, which dissects this beautiful Gloucestershire countryside. There are many popular attractions nearby, including Batsford Arboretum, Hidcote Manor and Gardens and the Model Village at Bourton-on-the-Water.

Inside, the accommodation has been finished to a high standard with wooden flooring and exposed brickwork adding plenty of character. In the spacious and contemporary kitchen you will find an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Enjoy drinks and light meals at the breakfast bar or take to the oak table nearby for sociable family meals. In the cosy lounge there is comfortable seating, a cosy rug and a TV/DVD for relaxing nights in. There is one well-presented double bedroom on the ground floor, together with a bathroom with shower over bath. Upstairs, the master double bedroom benefits from a charming en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom is ideal for children.

Outside, there is a sunny patio area with rattan-style table and chairs for enjoying summer BBQs and drinks. The enclosed lawn beyond is a great space for children and dogs to play.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20 for up to 7 nights, £40 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20 for every week or part week thereafter.

Mickleton cottage is spacious and very well equipped for our family gathering. On Saturday we arrived back at the cottage after a day out and I discovered I had lost the door key. After phoning the owner it was dealt with within minutes. In a kind and understanding manner. Lovely well equipped bungalow in quiet village. Met on arrival by very pleasant owner who had supplied Milk, fresh eggs, tea & coffee. Walks on your doorstep, though muddy if weather not good. Ideal location, plenty of NT propertys in surrounding area. Garden enclosed by fence and hedge was secure for dogs.

Extremely comfortable spacious and well appointed dormer bungalow. Good sized secure rear garden ideal for energetic dogs and/ or children. Plenty of on-site parking. Well located for Stratford, Chipping Camden and Broadway and the Vale of Evesham and the Cotswolds generally. Mickleton Village has a shop which is great for basic shopping needs. Mickleton Lodge was a lovely place to spend a week in the Cotswolds. The house was comfy and cosy. The garden was very safe and secure for our dog to play. Mickleton village is lovely, with a little shop and post office. We found some lovely places to visit nearby and all of us including our dog enjoyed walking at Batsford Arboretum.

A delightful roomy property. Clean and well decorated. Lovely small enclosed garden. Plenty of parking. A very quiet location with local pub and store in walking distance. Very central for visiting all the places of interest. Would certainly return here for another stay.

This house was the perfect place to stay with our dog. Enclosed private garden and footpaths leading from the door out into the wider countryside. Little touches such as the welcome basket and good supply of basics meant we didn't need to constantly pop to the shops (of which there are several locally) to get things we needed.

This was a beautifully converted bungalow very tastefully decorated and was well equipped. We were there for the weekend; 2 couples, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs, a Rottweiler and a Mini Schnauzer. There was plenty of room for us all. The dog friendly pub and local shop were only 10 minutes walk away and there were many walks from the village across the Read morefields. The enclosed garden was a blessing and the local dogs enjoyed welcoming ours! Hide
