This place was lovely! Perfect location, close to all the attractions and activities without the business of a holiday camp. The host was so welcoming and forthcoming with recommendations. It was like a fancy home away from home. Really close to a Lidl and more than enough equipment to do the trip totally self catered! A lovely place to stay in a lovely lodge. Superb hosts who couldn't do enough for us. The whole property was exceptional well equipped, very private and in an excellent location to enjoy the Forest of Dean. The hot tub was just the cream on a very lovely cake.

Lisa and Dan are very thoughtful (wine flowers and milk provided) and only too willing to help in any way. This accommodation is pleasantly quiet but in easy reach of interesting places to visit in the Forest Of Dean area. Also within a short walk are a pub with home cooked meals(The White Hart) and a well stocked convenience store.

Napier Lodge is a beautiful place set in lovely surroundings. The lodge itself is outstanding, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay and spotlessly clean. The inside of the property was lovely, just as in the pictures. However, what you dont see in them is that the property is actually a converted garage in front of the owners house. It is completely overlooked and lacks privacy.

lovely cottage, shame about the location as it is in the middle of a square and extremely overlooked, so it lacks a lot of privacy. Also woken up in the early hours with cars and talking close the windows.
