We received a lovely friendly welcome with lots of information about the area. The barn was perfect for my wife and I, and our dog. For a small property it has a very good range of equipment. We had a lovely stay at the Old Barn, Mandy is so welcoming. We arrived in the evening and there was a fire lit for us which made us feel at home straight the way. Lovely welcome from the owner of the property with home baked brownies. Clean and tidy cottage on the small side but cosy wood burner and very quiet location. No pubs in walking distance but lots of good eating places nearby and picturesque places to visit.

For the price paid for four nights we consider the property a little small and cramped. The bed was in our opinion too firm - a matter of preference. The situation of the Cottage was for our purposes ideal and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. Our spaniel loved the local walks. A pity we did not have longer to fully explore the area.

We chose this property because it was close to the Cotswold Way. It suited us well.We were also pleased to find we could walk off road to the Prinkash Bird and Deer Park in less than 20 minutes. We could also walk to Upton St Leonard's off road and most of the route to the Kings Head pub. The Barn is a well placed self catering property.
