Really cosy cottage, wood burner and extra wood available to buy was great as we were there during a snowy snap. Heating was on for our arrival, lovely after a journey. All equipment in the kitchen you could need for a few days away. Lovely bedding and towels. Quiet position.

Just had a perfect hibernation few days at Hawthorne Cottage. Beautiful works, cosy home from home and ideal to hideaway from the world for a few days. The log burner fire was a welcome comfort after a long walk. The dog loved it too! Would return!

Exceptionally cosy and picturesque cottage, with a beautiful stream running across the property. We spent the evenings relaxing in front of the fire.

A perfect getaway spot for two. We went in December and with the wood burner it was just perfect, but we can see it being marvelous in the summer too.
