A simply charming cottage peacefully tucked away off this vibrant town's market square, just perfect for those looking to explore the Cotswolds whatever the occasion or time of year.

Stow-on-the-Wold is the quintessential English town, with its mellow Cotswold stone architecture, breath-taking countryside, ample country pubs and tea rooms it is ideal for enthusiastic walkers and tourers alike. Often referred to as the hub of the Cotswolds with a vibrant town square that’s just brimming with boutiques, cafes and restaurants. You are also well placed to explore the neighbouring towns and villages to include Broadway, Chipping Campden, Bourton-on-the-Water and Burford. Further afield are the historic towns of Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s birth place and Cheltenham, home to the literature and food festival. More local attractions include Chastleton House and Gardens, Blenheim Palace, Snowshill Manor, The Cotswold Farm Park, Birdland, Hidcote Manor, Daylesford organic farm shop and Chedworth Roman Villas.

Step away from the hustle and bustle of the town square and pass through the gate where you will get the first glimpse of this quintessential stone cottage. The front door gives immediate access to the lounge area where there is space for coats and boots. The flagstone floors and exposed beams provide a sympathetic back drop to the contemporary style that the owner has created along with an inviting wood burner and Smart TV/DVD for when the evening draws in. The kitchen/diner is the perfect space for a supper for four where the chef is able to join in the conversation whilst they make the most of the well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. When the day is done climb the wooden stairs where you will find two double bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms with WC.

Step outside into your enclosed garden, with a paved patio that offers garden furniture and BBQ, a play area for children and a raised lawn perfect for your dog. There is roadside parking away from the cottage.

Nice and quiet location just of the main square. Lots of attention to detail and personal and quick responses from the managing couple. A real home away from home and a good starting point for local roaming.
