Well served with a traditional village pub, a historic dovecote situated in a beautiful spot by the river Windrush, along with a wealth of walking, cycling and horse riding that makes its way through the breath-taking countryside and picturesque hamlets. Offering easy access to a host of attractions The Cotswold Farm Park, Daylesford organic farm shop, numerous National Trust properties and gardens. Further afield Cheltenham and Stratford upon Avon are both great for a day at the races. With many local festivals throughout the year including both the food and literature.

Step into this breath taking property, a spectacular vaulted barn with beautiful exposed beams. Enter the property into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which offers the perfect space for a romantic get away. Tastefully finished with a clever mix of both old and new, on a chilly evening why not light the wood burner and relax with a good book or a movie on the comfy sofa with TV/DVD. The kitchen area, contemporary in style has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher and is perfect for preparing a romantic supper for two. There is also a shower room with shower and WC on this floor. When the day is done, climb the wooden stairs onto the mezzanine with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams to a king-size bedroom with garden views.

Step outside and enjoy your morning coffee with bird song within a small seating area. A shared utility area with washing machine is housed in an outbuilding near the property and there is also allocated private parking for two cars available.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

My wife, little Shih Tzu dog and I had a fantastic stay at this cottage. It had everything we needed. The property is beautiful, cozy and peaceful. Its in the middle of a little village with a pub (a must for us!) and full of walks nearby. We drove to multiple villages from here for other walks and fully recommend it as a base in the Cotswolds. Nice and well equiped cottage in one of those beautiful villages in the Cotswolds. Ideal starting point for walks in the region and visits of some of the moste beautifull villages, gardens and historical courts and houses in the area. We got a very friendly welcome from the owners. A nice place to get to know the central Cotswolds.

The cottage was delightful. All the equipment was in new condition, the furniture comfortable and a heating system plus wood burner and logs if needed. Mr and Mrs Adams were very friendly. Mrs Adams greeted us and showed us the property, she had also left us a super fruit cake which we demolished during our stay. The Old Cart House has real character in a lovely setting on the edge of the village. It is ideal for country walks and visits to surrounding towns and villages with a friendly welcome from the owners who stay next door.

Fabulous location. Easy walk to the next village with a shop, short drive to the nearest town. Local pub is very accommodating serving good, honest food. Cottage itself is stunning and well kitted out, clean, tidy and very practical for a weekend or longer stay.
