Overall, our stay at the cottage was great. Well equipped, warm and just enough space for 5 adults + a dog. However, in the attic rooms there was a real problem with flies. They were coming from inside the beams and were very annoying when trying to sleep and not pleasant waking up to dozens of dead flies at the windows. It was a real shame, as apaRead morert from this our stay was great. Hide

Lovely cottage - really well equipped and beautifully decorated. Full of thoughtful features such as home made cake on arrival, fresh milk in the fridge, radio in the kitchen, lovely bedlinen and towels. Felt like a very calm and tidy version of home! Beautiful walks all around.

The property was really good for dogs with walks from the door and having an entrance for boots and cleaning dogs. The lounge/kitchen was warm and comfortable and the bedrooms spacious and beds in good comfortable condition. It was also good for cycling into Thornbury from the house and good bike store also came in handy. All in all a good propertyRead more to stay in. Hide

A beautiful, cosy cottage with everything you require. The walk around the lake is definitely worth while if you get the opportunity to go.The garden is dog friendly, and the cottage works well if you have a dog as there is a boot room were you can dry them down.
