This lovely cottage forms part of an original terrace of farm workers cottages in the secluded peaceful back waters of Fairford and only a short walk from the captivating 17th and 18th century streets that dominate the town’s historic High Street.

Fairford is situated on the River Coln, 6 miles East of Cirencester and is within easy reach to the many popular towns and villages within the Cotswolds such as Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bath, Badminton, Tetbury and Cheltenham which is famous for the races and its literature festival. You can explore the banks of the River Coln as it joins the River Thames which has a wealth of picturesque riverside walks with traditional inns and tea rooms along the way. Visit the quintessential village of Bibury for an afternoon tea or numerous National Trust Houses and gardens. Enjoy many attractions such as The Cotswolds Wildlife Park and Gardens and Chedworth Roman Villa.

The accommodation offers THREE Bedrooms: 2 doubles and 1 children’s twin bedroom with 2’6” beds. Bathroom: bath with shower over and WC. Lounge: with Freeview TV/DVD. Dining room. Day room: with seating. Kitchen: well-equipped with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Outside: enclosed garden to the rear with seating area and to the front a traditional garden with seating. Amenities: 1 designated parking space, ample roadside parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and economy 7 storage heaters included. Regret no smoking. 1 dog welcome. Location: shops, restaurants and pubs within walking distance.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Beautiful cottage, plenty of space and well equipped. Beds were comfy and a lovely patio area for the warmer months. We went for christmas and it was exactly what we wanted: quiet little village, local pubs, walks and the owner even put up a christmas tree! Perfect

Ideally positioned just a few minutes walk from Walnut Tree fields where there is a large playground of excellent quality. the town of Fairford is about 6 minutes walk and within 10 minutes from the cottage, through the town is the river walk, perfect for the dog on a hot day. The railway Inn is just a few minutes walk for great pub grub. the gardeRead moren is secure for dogs. Please do not book the week that I would like to return. Hide

The cottage was roomy and comfortable. The bedroom was lovely and dark, it made it very easy to sleep in. The caretaker Carlie was very nice and helpful.

Lovely cottage situated in a nice village with access to nice park, pubs, scenic walks, amd ideally placed for short journeys out. Can highly recommend Bourton-on-the-Water and its Bird World. Helpful leaflets on local walks can ge found in the village council office, and very nice fish and chippy and post office cafe in Fairford. Very enjoyable stRead moreay/week for family of 4 plus dog.
