Full of character, this charming three bedroom barn conversion in the Hope Valley enjoys beautiful wooden beams and stone flagged floors. It provides the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area.

In the heart of the Hope Valley this central base is ideal for enjoying this part of the Peak National Park this being one of two cottages at this location. Some excellent walking exists in all directions the Pennine Way being the most challenging. If the need arises then you do have good access by rail links or a drive to the cities of Sheffield and Manchester with a wide range of shops cafes bar theatre and other attractions.  Nearby, Hope, offers all the local amenities, including a post office, groceries and a pub, ideal for those who are only seeking to explore by foot.

You enter the barn which is full of charm and character into the open plan kitchen/dining and lounge area with its welcoming Yorkshire range fireplace and an beautiful glazed window to the rear. The room is well equipped with beams and stone flagged floors giving this area further character.

Upstairs the three bedrooms, two double and one with two single beds, offers guests the most peaceful of nights, complete with ceiling beams and a family bathroom with bath, toilet and basin.

Outside you can sit and enjoy the far reaching views or explore the orchard garden.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20 for up to 7 nights, £40 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20 for every week or part week thereafter.

The location with regard to sight seeing was perfect. Very accessible. The cottage was well equipped, clean and tidy. The farm dog was very friendly and deserved his piece of sausage.

This was a lovely cottage with a location and view to die for.Win hill is literally on your doorstep and is a fantastic walk rewarding you with views all around Edale . The owners were really friendly and helpful.There was constant hot water and all the amenities for a comfortable stay. The cottage is up a steep hill with the usual narrow roads so Read morebear this in mind with nervous/new drivers. The hens Gip the sheepdog, sheep etc are a real bonus if you are animals lovers and children will love it. Hide

Fabulous cottage, ideally situated to be able to get the most of the Peak District. Lovely host sheepdog Gyp which the children (4yrs and 2yrs) loved playing with and this was the highlight of their holiday!

Lovely cottage in a beautiful area. Perfect location for us. We felt a slight lack of equipment for cleaning the cottage and any information on facilities etc. However we had a great time!!

Fabulous location, feels wonderfully remote but the village is in easy walking distance. An excellent base for a walking holiday, lots of local walks without recourse to car. Owners very welcoming and cottage was very good. We used the smaller double bedroom & the mattress was very comfortable - best weeks sleep I've had in ages.
