A delightful picturesque property offering guests an intimate rural retreat in a lovely quiet village with easy access to the whole of the Peak District. Exposed beams give this property a real sense of character.

Located within easy reach of one of the UK's most spectacular National Parks-The Peak District, the property is a picture postcard property. Just two miles from Ye old Gate Inn pub, the barn is ideally located for afternoons spent relaxing amidst the locals. Easily accessible by road and rail, Cromford railway station is just seven miles away.

The interior of the cottage perfectly matches the beautiful exterior. A large glazed door leads into the spacious lounge and open-plan kitchen with gorgeous stone flagged floors. The kitchen-dining area contains all the essentials that guests will need during their stay.

Upstairs, the bedroom is surprisingly large given the cosy cottage feel of the barn. Velux roof lights make this a spacious bright and airy room in the eaves, while exposed original oak beams gives this king-size room a wonderful feel. The suite area of the bedroom is the perfect place for curling up in one of the armchairs with a book or simply taking in the stunning views. The bedroom has an en-suite with bath and shower-over, hand basin, heated towel rail and toilet.

The cottage is in a beautiful country area although it is a bit isolated. The closest shops we found were in Ashbourne about 5miles away. The owners were very helpful and advised us of nice places to visit. The tea room at Tissington 3miles away is well worth a visit as is Bakewell.

Bay tree barn was a very cosy, well equipped cottage. It is well positioned to explore the beautiful countryside, Chatsworth House is well worth a visit but allow plenty of time. The owner was very helpful and welcoming.

Bay Tree Barn is perfect for a short break, very cosy and well presented. It's in a very secluded spot although there's a surprising volume of traffic through the village it doesn't impact on the solitude. The cottage could do with a few things, but it is well located for the White Peak area. We'd definitely return if we wanted to be in the same arRead moreea. Hide

The bay tree barn was very cosy and warm. It was well equipped, comfortable and clean. It was perfect for our 6 night stay and the location was very good, there are many attractions nearby and Ashbourne is only 10 mins drive away with shops restaurants and supermarkets. Would recommend the Ketch pub only 5 mins away in kniverton.

A lovely spacious cottage with a large bedroom and chill area upstairs. Owners were helpful as well. It is located well for all the main areas of interest in the south of the Peak District. Thanks for a great holiday.

Lovely property in a very secluded location. Maybe I would've liked a cottage in a village where there was a pub for food and a wee shop but Bradbourne is lovely. The cottage is great place for a couple. We did some cycling at Carsington Water which is close by and worth going to. The directions given to the cottage were easy to follow from the souRead moreth but I had to work in reverse coming from the north! The cottage is nicely decorated and very clean. Hide

Beautiful barn conversion in a lovely peaceful location - Bradbourne has no shop or pub so great for getting away from it all. Ashbourne is about 10 minutes by car for shopping & restaurants. The accommodation is spacious for 2 with a large open upper floor and a cosy living room/kitchen downstairs. We appreciated being able to lock our bikes in thRead moree attached greenhouse. There are lots of great walks and cycling close by e.g. Tissington trail and Carsington Water. Hide
