A delightful cottage located in the heart of the village of High Peak. The local pub is right on the doorstep, providing the perfect spot for tired legs after a day spent walking amidst the outstanding scenery.

The cottage is situated in the village of Combs and lives up to its picture perfect name. For those guests seeking some culture, the nearby spa town of Buxton is steeped in history and has a theatre for those wanting the arts. Chapel en le Frith is just two miles from the cottage, with local amenities including restaurants, railway station, post office and shops.

This picturesque detached cottage offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside from its central village position. The cottage kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessities and has a breakfast bar for social eating, or for something more formal there is a main dining area too. The charming cottage, complete with wooden floors in the cosy open-plan lounge, has a woodburner for those evenings spent in front of the fire watching a DVD.

Upstairs in the spacious double bedroom, guests can enjoy spectacular views across the fields that surround the property as well as the pretty stream that runs through the village. The cottage bathroom consists of a bath with shower-over, hand basin and toilet.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Fantastic property with plenty of space for two people but still cosy enough to feel like home. Quiet location right next to a lovely pub with good food and entertainment on some nights. Would highly recommend to friends and family

This is a beautiful cottage very well presented and clean and the pub nextdoor is really lovely too! Fab large kitchen with all utensils. We had a few issues with the heating and couldn't get the fireplace to stay lit (must have been doing something wrong but not had a problem before!) A very spacious cottage for 2 that was well equipped and cosy. The wood-burning stove worked a treat. Located in a very peaceful village, the cottage benefits from being next door to the Beehive Inn which is a very friendly pub, with good honest food and a great pub quiz which happens every Tuesday night. We had a very nice break at the cottage, the interior was very well appointed and warm, especially as it snowed for part of the week we were there and the log burner really was a god send !! The only problem for us was that there was no outside space for our dog and the path to the door of the cottage is used by the staff from the pub which did annRead moreoy our dog. Hide

Very enjoyable break. Nice location lovely pub. Accommodation is big for a 1bedroom cottage and very comfortable. Log burner was a godsend as it was very cold.

Beautiful part of the world right next to a pub. Pub food was excellent (sunday roast) and bar staff polite and friendly. Lots of local walks to ramble off to. Would mention if you have a dog - the entrance to pub cellar is opposite the front door and my dog did bark every time someone walked past the cottage which was a lot in the mornings. What a fantastic Cottage! As soon as you enter you know its going to be great. The kitchen is so well equipped there is nothing else needed. There is so much space downstairs it is amazing. Upstairs, the bedroom is excellent and after a good days walking, the Bathroom is just what you need.
