This is a warm and cosy cottage which, although just for 2 people, certainly has plenty of space. The kitchen is very well equipped and the property is located just up a track from the lovely village of Eyam, where there are places to eat (recommend the Miner's Arms for dinner) and a few shops plus a number of historical sites to visit. Great spacious cottage, loads of space for two people! Loved the huge bathroom and the power shower was excellent, very powerful. Lovely quiet location yet also close to a variety of popular Peak District attractions.

We arrived to a warm welcome from the owners. Beautiful location and a beautiful cottage with everything you need, well maintained and spotlessly clean. We had neighbours, but never heard them. The village of Eyam was full of the Peak District charm you would expect. It was an ideal location to stay as right in the middle of everything. Would I staRead morey again? Most definitely and I will certainly be recommended it to family and friends. Hide

A lovely cottage in a perfect setting...quiet and peaceful , above the village of Eyham. The cottage has everything you need to enjoy your holiday. A perfect base to come home to each evening

Perfect cottage like home from home, the welcome package was a nice touch. We had people either side of us but couldn't hear them at all. The pub in the village is 0.6 mile. The sheep came every day to visit, the horses are beautiful. Well worth a visit,we will be going again.

Once reached the cottage is superbly placed and constructed for a very peaceful and quiet stay, we saw and heard nothing of the other two families in the adjoining two cottages. Claris is very well equipped, every need is catered for. An ideal hideaway.

Lovely. Quiet. Well equipped with everything we needed. We even had an unexpected food welcome basket! If I were to criticise, which there is no need to, a bath would have been a bonus, but that's only because I love to have a bath, but even so, it wasn't missed. Louise.

Really lovely cottage at the top of the hill just outside the plague village. Absolutely loved sitting by the log fire watching the lambs bounce around.

A very nice hamper welcomed us with all the little things you want for a long weekend break. Very nice location and away from everything which you wawnt if you work in the city. Local pub had top class food and the landlord is very friendly.

Clarice Cottage is beautiful and spacious. Thoughtful touches, quality finishes and the carefully placed lighting gives it a snuggy, home from home feel. The position in relation to Eyam was perfect - high up on the hillside above the village, you feel like you're out in the countryside, but it is close enough to walk to the pub for a meal (if you Read moredon't mind a bit of a leg-stretch). The owners were warm but professional. Hide
