A brilliant secluded location at the edge of the town, up on a beautiful hillside with great views and a real sense of tranquility. The interior and furnishing of the cottage is to a very good standard with lovely clean sheets and towels, a large comfortable bed and lounge and a well equipped kitchen.

Absolutely beautiful cottage - cosy and light with stunning views on both sides. We were so comfortable and in a great position to see beautiful places like Eyam Hall, Stanage Edge and Chatsworth. I wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you to our hosts for such a lovely stay.

The cottage is situated at the end of a long narrow drive, is surrounded by fields, and is extremely peaceful. The property was well equipped with the everyday essentials that you needed. It is a good size and well suited for relaxing after a day out in the Peek District.

The property was cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. A lot of thought had gone into it and there was even a bottle of wine and some food as a welcome pack.

Very well equipped accommodation in a beautiful location.

Well appointed cottage ideal for a quiet relaxing break away from todays bustle. There was no road or rail noise with the occasional baaing sheep and calling pheasant setting the scene. With lots of museums etc. to visit, walks to go on, local pubs and restaurants serving reasonably priced good food we had a fantastic week.

This cottage didn't measure up to the 2015 Gold Award for exceptional quality of accommodation and customer service based on our extensive experience of UK cottages over the last 10 years averaging 8 cottages per year - value for money wasn't met.
