A characterful barn conversion, embracing inverted living to make the most of the spectacular views across the rolling countryside. A spacious property that’s ideal for groups and families.

Nestled amidst pretty villages, with the nearby bustling market town of Bakewell providing a great spot for spending the afternoon meandering through the quaint shops and cafes. This barn is one of four in this location which can be rented together to accommodate large groups. The barn itself is an excellent choice for groups and families looking to explore the cycling of the Monsal trails or some delightful walks through the countryside.

Guests enter the inverted accommodation where the bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower, hand basin and toilet. The second bedroom is also a double with its own en-siute bathroom with bath, shower-over, hand basin and toilet. The other two bedrooms on the ground floor each contain two single beds and there is also a family bathroom with bath, shower-over, hand basin and toilet.

Upstairs the property embraces open plan living, and king post trusses and vaulted ceilings create a charming ambience. Oak floors give the barn a wonderful sense of warmth and countryside chic. The lounge area contains a gas effect stove which makes a feature of this space. The kitchen-diner is fully equipped with all the necessities.

Outside there is a lovely seating area to the front of the barn which provides a wonderful space for relaxing in this tranquil, rural location.

This property is one of four in the same location which can be booked together to sleep 18 people.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Please note there is a refundable £150 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

A delightful cottage in a very picturesque part of the Peak District. The kitchen was equipped with all the kit that we needed. The owners had left a loaf of bread, carton of milk and a bottle of wine for us - a very thoughtful welcome. There are a lot of places to eat out nearby. Lovely barn conversion in an ideal setting close to excellent walks and views (Monsal Head is a few minutes walk away). We will definitely stay again. The owners were very helpful when we had a slight hitch with the heating controls on the first night. They also kindly left some fresh bread for us on arrival .
