One of three properties located in a delightful position in the Dove Valley. Nearby fishing and cycling make this property an ideal choice for those wanting to spend time in the great outdoors.

Situated on the upper reaches of the beautiful Dove Valley, this is a pretty stone barn nestled in a rural hamlet. Guests who enjoy fishing can head to the nearby River Dove where excellent trout fishing is available by prior arrangement. For keen cyclists, the trails of Tissington and Manifold are close by, along with bicycle hire and electric bikes to make light work of the undulating hills.

Guests enter the stone barn into the kitchen-diner, equipped with all the necessities guests require. Large glazed doors make this room bright and airy, and lead out onto a pretty patio that’s perfect for whiling away an afternoon. On the ground floor there is also a bathroom with a shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet-ideal for kicking off muddy boots. A separate cosy lounge is made for curling up and watching a DVD after a day spent outdoors

Upstairs there are three double bedrooms, two with king size beds and one bedroom containing two single beds. From the windows of the bedrooms, guests can enjoy delightful views of the surrounding landscape, and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep in this rural idyll. Upstairs there is also a family bathroom with a bath, shower, hand basin and toilet.

For dog owners, much appreciated the bed and bowls, the garden is not dog proof so consider that if you have an "investigative" pup like ours! Amazing location, probably difficult for the infirm with 5 gates to open/close and narrow stairs. Otherwise absolutely great and would book again

Perfect location for peace and quiet surrounded by countryside views and sheep. Each bedroom very roomy, huge sitting room and we'll equipped dining kitchen. Tissington trail just up the hill and parsley hay cycle hire nearby.

This is a lovely cottage that was perfect for us. Really comfortable to stay in with all the kitchen equipment we needed. It's only a 20 minute drive from a Buxton but it's in a really pretty valley and feels much further from civilisation than it is! Great base for walking though we only did some short walks to the earthworks of Pilsbury castle anRead mored to the Pack Horse pub at Crowdecote. It is down a little bumpy road but the lady who looks after the property gave us great directions. Hide
