A rural Eden situated on the edge of the pretty Hope Valley, guests staying at this cottage will enjoy a wealth of outdoor fun and exploration, including exploring caves and walking the challenging Pennine Way.

Ideally positioned for making the most of the great outdoors and the spectacular landscape of the Dark Peak, the cottage is a delightful property with the nearby villages of Hathersage and Hope offering local amenities, including Hope railway station which makes this cottage easily accessible by both rail and road. Guests can explore the Blue John Mines, caves or simply take a stroll through the village and enjoy the goings on of village life.

Entering the cottage, guests will find themselves in a cosy hallway that leads into an open-plan lounge and kitchen-diner that contains all the essentials. For those who want to dine out, the Samuel Fox restaurant is just 300 yards from the property. Relax in the lounge and unwind with a DVD after a day spent outdoors in the rugged landscape of the Dark Peak.  The bedroom contains a double bed and an en-suite shower room with a toilet and hand basin that perfectly completes this charming cosy cottage.

The charming open space is bright and airy from the double doors that lead out onto a south facing seating area which enjoys all day sunshine and charming views across the stable yard. A BBQ and outdoor furniture make this a great spot for al fresco dining on a warm evening.

The property is nestled amidst the owner’s grounds giving it privacy and security, with off road parking located adjacent to the property.

The property was exactly as advertised, it was comfortable, clean and fully equipped, and we did not experience any problems during our stay. The Owner was on hand if required, but did not intrude in any way. Being close to the horses was great!

Nice cottage for a couple, well equipped, comfortable bed and seating. Location was good as we are primarily walkers, and didn't have to drive far to walk, when we didn't want to walk from Bradwell. Handy co-op in village, very friendly.

Bentley and I had a great break in The Peak District. We were made to feel very welcome and they even supplied towels for Bentley too (he's a Golden Retriever btw). We were driving distance to lots of lovely villages and walking distance to 2 pubs. The local co op and a bakery are also in the village.

A very clean, compact and comfy cottage. They even provided towels for the dog! Owners were on hand but not intrusive and very helpful. Set in a large village which had a good range of basic shops including a very good chippy. Would certainly recommend and return.
