Positioned in the historic village of Eyam which was once associated with the plague of 1665. A stone property that offers delightful walking and nearby amenities for families and groups.

This traditional long barn is located in a courtyard in a pretty village in the Peak District. For walkers, the challenging Pennine Way starts in nearby Eyam and offer guests a great way to explore the surrounding landscape. After a day spent traversing the hills and valleys of the peaks, guests can head to the local pub, The Miners Arms, which is just 200 yards from the property or why not visit the village tea rooms. The nearby pretty market townof Bakewell is a lovely place to meander through, or just a short drive away Chatsworth House offers English grandeur and stunning parklands.

Downstairs there are two bedrooms. One bedroom contains twin beds which can be linked together if required and has an en-suite shower, toilet and hand basin. The other bedroom on this floor also has twin beds which can be joined together, and an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and hand basin.

Upstairs there is an open plan kitchen, equipped with all the essentials. A  spacious dining-sitting room area with vaulted exposed beam ceilings and has a wonderful sense of character and charm, as well as delightful garden views from the large windows. There is also a double bedroom on this floor, which contains a super king size bed that can be separated if required to make twin beds. The upstairs bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower-over, hand basin and toilet.

Outside there is a private seating area that runs the full length of this spacious barn and provides a great spot for a BBQ and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

A great base for walking over the moors. Fine pubs very close to the property.

Forget me not Barn is located in a beautiful historical village with wonderful views from the windows and superb walks on the doorstep. The Barn is very spacious and warm and the layout works really well for our family, or 3 couples that wish to holiday together. The village shop is a stroll away and very well stocked.
