The English grandeur of Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall and Renishaw Hall are just a short drive from the property. Guests can meander through the pretty market town of Chesterfield or enjoy the local amenities of Sheffield and Dronfield.

Guests enter the cottage into a hallway that leads through to the spacious lounge which contains an electric coal effect stove which makes a feature of this great space. The property benefits from geo-thermal heating which makes the rooms warm and cosy. Step through an archway from the lounge into the kitchen-dining area that is fully equipped with all the essentials that guests require during their stay. There's a downstairs bathroom with a bath, shower-over, toilet and hand basin.

Upstairs there is a spacious main bedroom with a double bed that can be made into two single beds if required and a single sofa bed is available for occasional use. The windows of the bedroom frame the breathtaking views to the front and rear of the property. An en-suite bathroom with a shower, hand basin and toilet perfectly completes this delightful room.

The second good size bedroom has two single beds that can be joined together to make a double bed. This room also enjoys wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.

To the front of the property is a beautiful cottage garden with patio seating that enjoys far reaching views and lots of sunshine at the right time of year.

Cosy country cottage ideal setting for exploring

A very nice and spacious cottage with everything you need for a relaxed holiday. Lots of space in the kitchen, comfy beds and sofas. The cottage is nicely located in a rural area, but in easy reach of larger towns as Sheffield and Chesterfield. The Peak District National Park with all its possibilities for a great day out is around the corner. The Read moreowners of the cottage are very friendly and provided a warm welcome with everything needed for an English breakfast. Hide

This is a pretty cottage located in a quiet rural area attached to a farm with horses The cottage is very comfortable and has all the mod coms one needs. The beds are very comfortable and the living room area very cosy and extremely comfy too. Its very clean and the owners seem nice. The only thing is that it is located in a long road and there areRead more no numbers so its very hard to find. There could be better sign posting to help visitors. We enjoyed our stay very much and we will return! Hide

Wonderful cosy cottage with everything you need. Owners extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely welcome pack which was very grateful after a long drive. Can't wait to stay again soon
