Overall a lovely cottage styled holiday home ideally located in the centre of Hartington with its wonderful views of the Peak District. The cottage is in a great location right in the village. We went as 6 friends for two nights and it was a great cottage with everything we needed. We brought all our own towels including hand towels. The many strengths of this cottage were lost in the annoying things that were not provided that we normally get in Derbyshire - no towel provision (not explicitly excluded on website), no welcome pack, no kitchen towels, no oven gloves (provided when asked), no basic instructions or welcome notes. Just didn`t 'feel' great or welcoming.
