A lovely little cottage perfectly suited to its name and for our 3 day break. Essential to us was that dogs are welcome, even if the garden is small. As well as 2 labradors we were 2 adults + a teenager. Any more than 3 people would be a bit of a squash, but we were very happy. Ashford is delightful and a good walking base.

Little cottage is lovely, although two bedrooms, would be a bit cramped for family of four. Was ideal for my husband,me and our dog. Fully equipped, and in a lovely village with walks from the door step and close to 'Bakewell' and other towns and villages, also 'Chatsworth house'. Would highly recommend.

Location was good for us but Hill Cross very steep. Cottage more suited to 2 or 3 people. Kitchen well equiped but otherwise felt it was expensive for what it was although there was adequate heating and hot water. WiFi patchy. Village is lovely, very picturesque. Pub great, real heart of the village with lovely food although not always available.

While this property is very small it was very comftable the only thing I didn't like was having no window in the bathroom.

This is a super cosy little cottage with good equipment. The broadband service is very limited. Ashford is ideal for walking in the dales. There is a brilliant village shop.

A nice cottage in a great and picturesque location. Monsal trail is nearby, but up a steep hill and along a road: we had to ferry our children to the trail by car. The playpark is very close and easily accessible for children to get to safely, but vehicles do occasionally pass fast up and down the hill outside the front door. There is no internet aRead moreccess from the cottage. Hide

A Small, compact cottage in a great location, but with everything needed for our stay. The small bedroom is a squeeze for 2 adults, but we managed fine, as we didn't spend a lot of time in it!

Great little cottage in an excellent location - everything we needed was provided. Local general store in Ashford also gave us excellent service.

For 3adults and a cocker spaniel the property was perfect for our Christmas break. Brilliantly equipped and the owner had decorated the cottage with a tree and tasteful decorations. Perfect walking area and little shop and cafe added to the charm of this very pretty village. Can't wait to visit again.
