The kitchen is well equipped and opens out into the dining area which has a farmhouse style table.

The bedroom is located just off the lounge area and contains a double bed with an additional sofa bed available for occasional use (additional charges apply). There is a walk-in shower room with a hand basin and toilet.

Outside there is a charming private patio area perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the views of the River Noe.

A great location. Very helpful and friendly owner. Large, comfortable, pleasantly warm, well appointed apartment. We would go again.

Very comfortable with high quality furniture and fittings. The shower is lovely and big. Great location, quiet but close to the village and in easy driving distance to all the Peak District. The owners live in the adjoining house. The patio is not closed in - people with dogs will need to keep an eye on them.

This is a beautiful cottage in a peaceful setting. It is surprisingly spacious for two people and only a stroll from the village of Hope where you can buy all of the necessary provisions. It is ideal as a base for walking and exploring the Peak District. It was lovely to be able to take our dogs with us and the location of the cottage is perfect foRead morer owners with dogs. The hosts are friendly and helpful and are easily contactable if needed. A great holiday destination. Hide

The best location in Hope - you really don't need a car when here. Apartments bigger than look in photos and very nice. Good food in cafe and village pub mean there is no real need to cook. Many walks direct from apartment - few difficult for dog stiles on footpaths and lots of sheep mean many walks require dogs on leads. Derwent Reservoir a lovelyRead more day out and the view from Win Hill fantastic - we were blessed with great weather not sure how it would feel in the wet! Hide

Upper and lower apartments were used by myself and friends. Both were of a very high standard . Location, excellent, walking distance to Hope and all requirements. Excellent walking, a thoroughly enjoyable week, which we hope to repeat.

This is a lovely place managed superbly; so very comfortable with all the things that you could need (Laundry as well) and all in a great location. Walking out is easy with the nearest Pub/restaurant 5 mins away; there is also a SPAR and local Butchers and grocers. We used the cottage as a base for visiting the National Trust properties and of ChatRead moresworth House. Absolutely recommend this lovely cottage but please don't book it when we would like to stay again! :) Hide
