Lovely cottage in a great location. really good for us and the dogs. Ideal base if you want to be able to walk to the Monsal Trail and not use your car. We were there for Christmas week and lucky enough to have snow yet the cottage was still lovely and warm.

Nice cottage, but needed a Springclean. Maybe because near end of season.

The cottage was absolutely lovely, it was incredibly close to the Monsal Trail and a drive away from the next town Buxton & Bakewell. Beautiful location and the landlords were super friendly, especially with the dogs! I would definitely recommend going and thinking of booking again for next year!

Meadow Cottage was in the perfect place for our weekend. Clean & comfortable, a lovely home away from home

The cottage is in an ideal place not only for walkers but especially for cyclists. The Monsal Trail is right on the doorstep without needing to get in a car. We had four cars and still didn't struggle to park or tussle with the other people in the complex as there was so much space. The owners were really friendly and though we were on a working faRead morerm with livestock they were equally relaxed and tolerant towards our dogs and were'nt breathing down our necks about them which is often the case. This is an excellent base for a walking holiday in the Peak District - clean, comfortable and very well equipped kitchen. The owners live next door and responded immediately to any queries and made us feel welcome on their farm.

We had lovely few days staying in this little cottage in the peak district. The location is perfect with plenty of walks in the area and only a short drive from Buxton. The cottage was clean and well equipped and importantly (as we were there over NY) nice and warm and cosy.
