Lovely little cottage to use as a base, excellent location in the village.

The location is perfect. It is a pity that you can't sit outside. It is a very small house, so with a few extra things the owner can make it more comfortable.

Clean & quiet with lots of entertainment not to far away. An ideal spot if you want a place to rest with no rushing around and later start in the morning.

Perfect location, bulls head pub allows dogs in which is handy and you can walk from the cottage up to Monsal Head - fabulous. Its a lovely cosy cottage for two.

A very comfortable cosy cottage in an excellent location. It had everything we needed for a lovely weekend. We will book again.

It's just the most lovely cottage, in a beautiful part of the world. We had a fantastic time. The stairs might be a bit tricky if you're well over 6 foot, but we're both around 5'8" so we were fine!

When we arrived, the log fire was lit, and some lamps were on, which was a nice touch. The downside was that the central heating never achieved its full heat, in spite of the owner getting a plumber to check it. Otherwise it was sufficiently well equipped, and very thoughtfully lit. The location in the village is perfect. All in all, a good choice Read morefor a couple. Hide

Pretty cottage with very little heating for an autumn holiday and the space outside the cottage belonged to next door so nowhere to sit outside. Also shower had a fixed head so couldn't use because I didn't want wet hair and no bath. Owner tried to help with heating but cottage remained mostly cold.
