Ashford in the Water is a pretty and popular Derbyshire village, located in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The village pub is welcoming and popular among locals, while you will find almost everything you need for your stay in the village shop. Walkers will enjoy setting out on the Monsal Trail, while the riverside cricket ground offers a relaxing spot to enjoy the game.

Next door, the kitchen, which has a door leading outside, has been fitted with clean white units, neutral splash back tiles and a traditional terracotta floor.

This was a property where a lot of thought had gone into to every detail with no expense spared. It is well deserving of it's five stars. Perfect for 2. Location is also amazing so makes up for lack of outside space

A delightful clean, comfortable and well equiped cottage in the attractive village of Ashford in the Water. The village has a good local shop and two pubs. It is ideally located close to the market town of Bakewell and Chatsworth with many local walks on the nearby Monsal Trail and Lathkilldale.
