A spacious ground floor apartment in a converted mill with unbeatable waterside views. The property offers a private riverside terrace for alfresco dining and there is an 18th century pub nearby.

Millers Dale is a small picturesque village in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Once a hive of activity as a junction on the Midland Railway, it is now a peaceful base from which to explore the limestone dales that fall on either side of the free flowing River Wye. With two nature reserves nearby, there is plenty of flora and fauna to be seen before stopping for a bite to eat at the welcoming Angler’s Rest.

Entrance to the apartment through a grand foyer with several steps which take you to the entrance of this spectacularly converted mill. The front door opens into the very spacious open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room. The kitchen has a distinctly nautical theme with blue splash back tiles, white cabinets and wooden flooring. There is a good-sized dining table beyond and a welcoming sitting area in which to relax and enjoy the stunning water views through the two large picture windows. A decorative gas fireplace sits between the windows, while a small snug area can be found in the corner of the room – perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat.

The main bedroom features a grand sleigh bed, crisp white walls and a further large picture window, allowing plenty of light to fill the room. The second bedroom also has a king sized double bed, and both enjoy en suite bathrooms.

A superb, beautifully appointed apartment in a wonderful location in the heart of the Peak District. The views from the picture windows are excellent. Even though the apartment is spacious with very high ceilings it is still very warm and has a cosy feel about it. The Monsal trail is accessible from the apartment, as are other lovely walks. It is hRead moreighly recommended and we would love to return. Hide
