A spacious ground floor apartment in a converted mill with unbeatable waterside views. The property offers a private riverside terrace for alfresco dining and there is an 18th century pub nearby.

Millers Dale is a small picturesque village in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Once a hive of activity as a junction on the Midland Railway, it is now a peaceful base from which to explore the limestone dales that fall on either side of the free flowing River Wye. With two nature reserves nearby, there is plenty of flora and fauna to be seen before stopping for a bite to eat at the welcoming Angler’s Rest.

Entrance to the apartment through a grand foyer with several steps which take you to the entrance of this spectacularly converted mill. The front door opens into the very spacious open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room. The kitchen has a distinctly nautical theme with blue splash back tiles, white cabinets and wooden flooring. There is a good-sized dining table beyond and a welcoming sitting area in which to relax and enjoy the stunning water views through the two large picture windows. A decorative gas fireplace sits between the windows, while a small snug area can be found in the corner of the room – perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat.

The main bedroom features a grand sleigh bed, crisp white walls and a further large picture window, allowing plenty of light to fill the room. The second bedroom also has a king sized double bed, and both enjoy en suite bathrooms.

This Apartment is beautiful, in both location but also is size. There is so much room, the living area was stunning and all appliances worked. The bedrooms and en suits are wonderfully furbished and made my week away a joy. The mill is also perfectly situated in between buxton and bakewell making food shopping easy and close to the main roads to doRead more some exploring. Hide

Spacious warm apartment in a beautiful location. Perfect for a relaxing break, but with plenty of walks on the doorstep. Loved the fact that both bedrooms had double beds and were ensuite with fabulous showers.
