This was the best presented accommodation we have rented across the north and midlands of England. From the first contact with holiday cottages to the location and level of comfort by the friendly and helpful owner. Two minutes walk to the town centre and a fine chip shop, a little further to the deli by the church. All good. Nice base for explorinRead moreg Nat Trust and other sites but also found Bakewell to be a charming and interesting town itself. Hide

The cottage was superbly placed some 300 yards from central Bakewell. Peter (the owner) has equipped the cottage to a very high standard, with everything is spotless and brand new. We have stayed at several cottages in recent years, and can quite simply say that this cottage, is the best we have stayed in.

Very comfortable property in a convenient location in Bakewell. We loved the classic furnishings and comfortable beds. The owner was very helpful, but not intrusive. It was ideal for eating at home or eating out and the perfect base for exploring the Peak District.
