Superb setting for trips to Snake Pass, walks on Monsal Trail, and swims at Chatsworth &Hathersage lido. Well equipped homely cottage with plenty of hot water. Loved the main bakery in Bakewell's fresh brown bread and Bakewell pudding.

The cottage is in an attractive village by the river and is perfect in every way, being both well-equipped and comfortable. It is part of a converted barn and in a peaceful setting overlooking fields of cows. The village is in the centre of the Peak District and is well-situated for sight-seeing. It also has a well-equipped village store and severaRead morel pubs with good food. We had a great holiday and would recommend the cottage to friends. Hide
