Beautiful apartment in a lovely old house. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the centre of Bakewell. Ideal for visiting Chartswell and Haddon Hall, which if you love walking are easy to walk to through beautiful scenery. And of course you have the Monsal Trail which starts in Bakewell which is an amazing walk. All in all a most delightfuRead morel stay. And I must say the owner was very welcoming. Hide

Fab cottage in a great location!

The location was very good, in the centre of the village with off road parking. The accommodation was very clean with a well equipped kitchen and nice bathroom. However the tv was hidden inside a cabinet and was far to small. There was a collection of dvd,s but no dvd player so not sure why they were there. The living room was not very cosy even thRead moreough there was an electric fire it was inadequate. The furniture in the bedroom was past its best but the bed was comfortable. Not penthouse standard. Hide
