Situated on the banks of the River Wye, right in the heart of the of Bakewell the accommodation is all on one level, with allocated parking. This is a perfect family base in the heart of the Peaks.

With so much on the doorstep you can park your car, hang up your keys and enjoy all of the many local amenities and attractions within walking distance. The property is situated at the foot of the popular Monsal Trail – a traffic free route for walkers & cyclists, through some of the Peak District's most spectacular limestone dales with Hassop cafe, bike hire and gift/bookshop only a mile stroll. Alternatively, within a short car journey you can visit some of the larger attractions the Peak district has to offer, such as Chatsworth House and farm shop and Haddon Hall both within five miles with the assurance that you can return to your own private parking spaces within this bustling market town.

You step into the ground floor accommodation into a cloakroom area, the perfect place for kicking off muddy boots and finding your slippers. Following through into the lounge/kitchen/diner with the original full length mill windows that flood the rooms with light and make the most of the neutral tones throughout. The stylish lounge area has been beautifully furnished with comfortable sofa where you can relax after a busy day and watch the TV/DVD and door leading out onto a front patio area overlooking the historic mill wheel. The kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Leading off from the lounge are the three, welcoming king-size zip-and-link bedrooms (which can be made into twins on request), one with an en-suite shower and WC. Here you will also find the bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.

Externally there is a front patio area, overlooking the old mill wheel, with seating provided. There is allocated parking spaces for two cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

This property is the perfect location if you want to be walkable into the beautiful village of Bakewell. It is tucked away behind a picturesque river, the interior is beautifully decorated to a very high standard and the hosts were even kind enough to leave us some little treats! This was a fantastic place to stay for a getaway in the Peak District. Perfectly placed with only a short walk into Bakewell town centre, this modern flat had everything you need and a few extras too. There were little extras everywhere which really made our stay special. The host was also very welcoming and accommodating. We couldnt fault it!

Lovely well equipped property located very near to all amenities of Bakewell. The location and the fact it is all on one level made it an ideal location for less mobile guests. However we found a lack of privacy due to location on road leading to car park.

Would recommend that if you need twin room that the larger of the rooms is requested as twin at time of booking. Also there was some noise very early am (4-5an) sounded like moving furniture which may have come from pub backing on to property - but was only on one night . .
