Located on the edge of Biggin Dale, the property sits in an ideal position from which to explore Dovedale, Wolfscote Dale and other parts of the beautiful Peak National Park. For guests in search of a bit of culture during their stay, the country houses of Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Kedleston Hall, Sudbury and Tissington Hall are all within easy reach. Nearby Hartington has local amenities including a grocery shop and post office. The cottage is approached by a long sweeping drive and a few steps towards the rear of the property. At the other side of the pretty walled garden is the sitting and dining area, which features an exposed stone wall, wood burning stove, stone floor and vaulted beamed ceilings. Continue through this room and into the kitchen area, which has granite worktops, pretty tiles and everything you should need throughout your stay. At the top of the steps located behind the kitchen is the imposing bedroom. With a king-sized four-poster bed, a high vaulted ceiling, exposed trusses and beams, this room is fit for a queen and full of charm and character.
