The White Cottage is a beautiful property in a very quiet Hamlet. There are plenty of walks to do nearby and its easy to get to Buxton and Bakewell. The property itself is well equipt to a very high standard. The two king rooms are interconnecting which suit some groups more than others. We would highly recommend the property.

Lovely, spacious house. Very clean, well equipped. Beautiful garden. Party of 5 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs - plenty of space inside and out for all. Fire pit great too. Would definitely come back

Spectacular place. I was here with 7 other friends and we are already planning to come back next year. It's the most beautiful house. We felt sure that the person who owns it, must be an interior designer as everything is so tasteful and stylish and there is everything there that you would need - plenty of pans, cutlery, glasses etc. There is plentRead morey of space in the house, but the garden, which is obviously large in the photos, is even bigger and more impressive in reality. We had a fabulous stay in a beautiful cottage. Chris was incredibly helpful when there was a blip with the boiler: he arranged a plumber within 15 minutes whilst he was out of the country himself. We will be booking again!

A stunning setting, especially in the snow. A perfect hideaway to feel as cosy as at home in! A cottage full of quality furnishings and kitchen equipment that helped us make up delicious meals. The fires were perfect for the dining room and lounge, very very comfortable dining room chairs. All in all - all 8 of us would stay here again.

A lovely older cottage with the perfect mix of original features and modern 'on trend' additions where we all felt instantly at home. Lots of room for teenagers, adults and children to spread out in their own space but to enjoy meals and games together. The large enclosed garden was great for our two dogs and well kept even in Winter. The firepit wRead moreas also well used and appreciated. Good dog walks straight from the property and fabulous views. Have already booked again for New Year 2019. Hide
