Beautiful cottage in the quaint village of Brassington. Gate Inn Pub 2 minutes walk away which is lovely, perfect from a family break in the peaks. All I would say is there are no shops anywhere nearby so arrange an online delivery or come with all you need!

Whitebeam Cottage is set in a lovely village with beautiful countryside on your doorstep, and two nice pubs a short walk away. The cottage is spacious and clean with all mod cons, making a great place to relax after a days walking. The only thing I will say is that if you're taking dogs the back garden is small (no grass area), and so we tended to Read moresit out the front of the property. Unfortunately there is no gate to the drive and so they may wander off! Hide

Fantastic cottage and setting. Great pub with great grub a few minutes walk away. One caveat for anyone with dogs - the neighbours Boxer dog doesn't like other dogs and can get its head and shoulders over the adjoining wall. Would be quite worrying for other dogs (and owners).

Extremely comfortable cottage in a beautiful village. Short walk to a fantastic pub and lots of great walks on the doorstep.

Cottage is beautiful and very comfortable. Kitchen space is fantastic for entertaining, living room very cosy and there are lots and lots of things to do and see in the local area. However garden looks much bigger and more enclosed in pics than it actually is. Enclosed area has a wall which is only 2ish feet high in places. There's also a dog livinRead moreg next door who is vocally unhappy about visiting dogs. So fine for anything spaniel size or smaller, not so much bigger breeds. Hide

It couldn't have been any more perfect... the kitchen dining area was very practical for a large party as no one was left alone in the kitchen. We were a ladies walking group and the property worked really well for us. The speedy response to our request to split the double beds into twins, was much appreciated.
