The kitchen/diner is also located on the first floor and offers an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave. Curving stairs lead to the mezzanine floor, from where the single bedroom overlooks the first-floor living space below, and across to the surrounding countryside from the windows.

The Castle apartment is a quirky yet homely place to stay, set in a beautiful rural location. It is set on 3 levels, so lots of steps, but this offers plenty of room while you are staying. The location is ideal for walkers and those wanting river / water activities. We enjoyed our stay there and we'd definitely will go back again.

Lovely property in a beautiful area with lots of areas to walk and explore in the area. The property is a beautifully converted old priory and keeps the original features.

The property is really handily placed for a canoeing holiday and the owner was happy to give us room to store our boat while we were there. The launching point for the beautiful and very popular Kerne Bridge to Symonds Yat section of the River Wye is within walking distance. The accommodation was adequate and as we had good weather all week we hardRead morely spent any time in it except for sleeping. Hide

Excellently situated, scenery, equipped. Surrounded by the owners cereal farm. Lots of river/field walks. The farmers family are extremely friendly and helpful. VERY dog friendly. BRILLIANT Place to stay. Would go back in a minute but would choose another apartment. Thank you the Roper family for a fantastic week.
