Enjoying an enviable location with views onto the open valley, the property has been lovingly restored and is the perfect base for exploring the Herefordshire countryside.

The perfect location offering easy access to Worcester and Hereford both showcasing stunning cathedrals and riverside walks, with smaller market towns that offer a more bespoke shopping experience in Leominster, Ludlow and Ledbury. For National Trust enthusiasts, there are a number of properties and gardens all within easy reach. For walkers, an enviable landscape of both rolling meadows and hills to climb with easy access into the Malvern Hills, the Forest of Dean and the Brecon Beacons. If it’s a festival that you are looking for why not take in Hay-on-Wye for book lovers or Ludlow for food lovers. Or stay closer to home and roam the waymarked paths and enjoy a leisurely walk.

After taking in the view across the valley step inside this inviting hallway and take a seat to remove your boots after a busy day, the stone steps will take you down to this open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner that will simply take your breath away whatever the time of year. The shear glaze rear aspect provides a perfect backdrop for any celebration and the hand-crafted kitchen with centre island will inspire the best of chefs, with seating for guests to catch up on the day gone by with a glass of wine. The large dining table is well placed and makes the most of the views, along with a cosy lounge area for a quite evening with a good book. The open-plan staircase is a real feature within the room where you will find two king-size bedrooms and a bathroom with separate shower, and WC. There is a further king-size bedroom with en-suite with shower and WC off the main hallway.

Open the doors from the lounge area onto your own private terrace with garden furniture great for entertaining or soaking up the late summer sun. There is parking for two cars and bicycle storage available.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

SLEEPS: There are three king-size bedrooms in total. The first bedroom is on the ground floor, just off the main hallway and benefits from an en-suite bathroom with a shower and WC, the second two bedrooms are on the first floor. Bed linen is provided for your stay.

RELAXING: The cottage is very warm and fully central heated. Spacious living room with comfortable sofas. There is Wi-Fi throughout.

COOKING & DINING: Large family open plan kitchen complete with an electric range oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a large dining table and central island perfect for enjoying your meals around.

KEEPING CLEAN: There is one bathroom with a separate shower and WC and one of the king-size bedrooms benefits from an en-suite bathroom with a shower and WC. You are welcome to use the washing machine in the shared utility room and towels are also provided for your stay.

OUTSIDE: The outside space boasts a private terrace with garden furniture, a great little spot for alfresco dining, entertaining your guests and soaking up the last of the sunshine. Bike storage is available if you fancy heading out for a cycle during your stay. There is parking for two cars.

PETS: One well behaved dog is more than welcome to come and stay.

Beautiful cottage in a very peaceful location. Great for walkers, bikers or just relaxing in the garden. It exceeded our expectations and we couldnt fault it.

This was our second visit and I will be booking for a third. Its beautiful. Sentennial barn is absolutely stunning, light, bright and airy and in a beautiful part of the world. Dont hesitate, you will be wowed.

The cottage was excellent for a family of 6 including 2 children. There seems to be loads to do nearby (but better once the weather warms up). The underfloor heating was especially highly rated over the cold Christmas week. The owner made us very welcome and provided a few luxuries for us on arrival.
