This detached cottage blends beautifully within the Wye Valley’s hillside, set within mature gardens of which you are free to roam, just perfect for entertaining whatever the time of year.

Enjoying an enviable location within walking distance of the Wye Valley Walk taking in stunning scenery and market towns and villages along the way. With walks from the door across brilliant woods and farmlands, Goodrich Castle, established in 1095 set majestically within a wooded hill. For enthusiastic cyclists there are a network of cycle paths that will guide you through the Forest of Dean. Take in the magic of Puzzle Wood and the history of the Clearwell Caves. The views from Symonds Yat Rock are also not to be missed. Also, within easy reach are the riverside towns of Ross-on-Wye hailed as the birthplace of modern tourism with its 17th century market house, and Monmouth the birth place of Henry V.

Take a stroll through the established gardens and arrive at the front porch of this traditional stone cottage. The oak framed porch is perfect to leave your muddy wellies before you step inside to the flag stone floor entrance hall. To the right you will find an inviting lounge with low ceilings, exposed beams and stone work, further enhanced with the rich coloured wall paint and fabrics, to the end of this room is the large feature fire place that’s perfect for a chilly autumn evening, and this room also enjoys wooden framed French doors that open onto the gardens. Cosy up after a day of exploring and watch a film on the TV/DVD. Turn left from the hall and you will arrive in the dining room, a large room with windows overlooking the grounds, the large table and chairs takes centre stage along with a decorative wood burner . The kitchen is accessed off this room, well-equipped and ready to test the best of chefs with electric range oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a seating area set to the side that sits well within a large bay window, ideal for a breakfast with friends. There is a utility room on the ground floor with washing machine and tumble dryer, and separate WC on this floor. After a day of adventures, climb the wooden stairs where you will find four bedrooms, a king-size with en-suite bathroom with WC. A double with stunning garden views and a further two single rooms with traditional cosy French beds. Completing the accommodation is a shower room with WC.

Take a stroll around the mature cottage gardens, edged with woodland there are many places where you can sit and relax, there is garden furniture on a terrace to the front. There is off-road parking for three cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Beautiful spacious cottage with a wonderful garden situated in a quiet country lane surrounded by woodland walks and bridle paths. Fabulous!. Very helpful owner too.

The cottage ( a lovely big house ) was spacious and its location amazing. The garden, complete with trampoline, table tennis, barbecue area, decking with dinning facilities, was excellent. The parking area was ample and the owner was most helpful in providing lots of local information.

An amazing true country cottage in the middle of glorious English countryside. An absolutely fantastic garden where the kids can play endlessly and the parents can relax with a cup of tea, watching squirrels play in the woods. The ground floor of the property has different levels, including two steep steps up into the kitchen. No mention of this is made in the description Apart from this, we loved Creeds Cottage both inside and out
