We had a wonderful time staying at the Lake House, an incredibly peaceful place, with days spent hiking nearby and evenings spent drinking ros on the sun-drenched terrace overlooking the lake. We were 11 girl friends in our late 20s and it was a perfect base from which to explore the area and much more spacious than the pictures suggest - we were aRead morell reluctant to leave! Hide

Lake cottage was a perfect retreat suiting those who wanted to chill and those wanting to be more active. Lovely to have use of the lake and we enjoyed watching the PGL kids learn to paddle. Still felt really spacious even with 11 people staying!

Great house in a lovely location. High standard of decor and furnishings, heating/hot water worked well, very clean. Plenty of walks nearby with beautiful scenery. Made good use of the lake(only 1 PGL session during our week which didn't affect us at all) and the games room. Thoroughly enjoyable week for all 10 of us (age 6-73)!

Facilities were great and to top it off the little extras from the White CompanRead morey Towels, Clean crisp white bedding to the comfy beds, Aga & roaring fire - no one had any complaints! An excellent venue for a family gathering. The cottage was very comfortable. The lake and fishing was a bid draw for the younger members. The log fire was great for the others to enjoy.
